The U.S. House of Representatives unanimously adopted Resolution No. 759 Wednesday, holding Japan responsible for atrocities against sex slaves during World War II.
The Resolutions says:
- Japan should admit its historical responsibility for enslaving women as sex objects.
- Tokyo is obliged to educate present and future generations about the atrocious crimes.
- Japan should never deny enslaving and subordinating women as forced prostitutes.
- Tokyo should decide on the necessary and proper forms of compensation.
