Venus De Milo

When considering a visit to the Louvre a plan is required to get the best out of it.

My approach was:

  1. Do a bit of research and decide to only search for the pieces you are interested in.
  2. Go in on the late opening night about 90 minutes before closing time to avoid the crowds (and get the discount price).
  3. Don’t be distracted by anything on the way to what you want to see.
  4. Bypass the Mona Lisa and the hordes of Japanese/Korean (and now Chinese) groups crowding around it.
