The newest neighbourhood in the Songjiang suburb of Shanghai has been opened. It is an imitation English village with its own pub, fish and chip shop and a bronze statue of Winston Churchill.

It is expected to eventually house around 10,000 people.

Apparently some of the buildings are exact copies of the ones in Lyme Regis and Bath.

And we can also look forward to the completion of a copy of Dorchester in Chengdu.

What will we have next? Hutongs in Hull?
