Today’s online Chosun Ilbo has a report on car colour preferences in Korea. The Ministry of Construction and Transportation conducted the research and got the following results:

1. White (38.9%)

2. Silver (23.4%)

3. Black (17%)

4. Blue (6.7%)

5. Green (4.9%)

So I decided to do a quick bit of research to see if international colour preferences are different.

North America:

1. Silver/Gray (28%)

2. White (16%)

3. Red (14%)

4. Blue (11%)

5. Light Brown (11%)

Europe:

1. Silver/Gray (41%)

2. Black (17%)

3. Blue (16%)

4. White (8%)

5. Red (7%)

So what does it all mean?

Probably nothing but I suspect that all of this may have sinister racial undertones. We should be vigilant.
